Pengaruh Sediaan Salep Ekstrak Etanol DaunTempuyung (Sonchus Arvensis L.) sebagai Penyembuhan Luka Sayat pada Kelinci Jantan New Zealand

Latar Belakang: Luka sayat merupakan kerusakan jaringan akibat benda tajam yang memerlukan penanganan untuk mempercepat proses penyembuhan dan mencegah infeksi. Daun tempuyung (Sonchus arvensis L.) mengandung metabolit sekunder seperti flavonoid, saponin, tanin, dan polifenol memiliki aktivitas antioksidan, antiinflamasi, antimikroba, serta berpotensi merangsang pembentukan kolagen, sehingga berpotensi dikembangkan sebagai sediaan salep penyembuh luka. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui mutu fisik salep ekstrak etanol daun tempuyung, mengetahui efektvitasnya terhadap penyembuhan luka sayat pada kelinci jantan New Zealand, serta menentukan formula dengan efektivitas penyembuhan terbaik. Metode: Penelitian eksperimental menggunakan enam kelompok perlakuan, yaitu kontrol positif, kontrol negatif, ekstrak etanol daun tempuyung, serta salep ekstrak etanol daun tempuyung dengan konsentrasi 8% (F1), 16% (F2), dan 24% (F3). Ekstrak diperoleh dengan metode maserasi menggunakan etanol 70%, kemudian diformulasikan menjadi sediaan salep menggunakan basis vaselin album dan adeps lanae. Sediaan dievaluasi melalui uji organoleptis, homogenitas, pH, daya sebar, daya lekat. Efektivitas penyembuhan luka dimatai selama 14 hari dan dianalisis menggunakan nilai Area under Curve (AUC) serta presentase daya penyembuhan luka (%DPL). Hasil: Seluruh formula memenuhi persyaratan mutu fisik. Formula F3 memberikan efektivitas penyembuhan luka terbaik di antara formula uji dengan rerata nilai AUC sebesar (9,97 ± 0,38) dan rerata %DPL sebesar (27,71 ± 2,79%), sedangkan kontrol positif menunjukkan efektivitas tertinggi dengan rerata nilai AUC sebesar (8,78 ± 0,42) dan rerata %DPL sebesar (36,32 ± 3,07%). Kesimpulan: Salep ekstrak etanol daun tempuyung F3 24% menunjukkan hasil mutu fisik yang paling baik dan aktivitas penyembuhan luka sayat paling optimal.
