Penerapan Senam Rematik terhadap Penurunan Skala Nyeri pada Lansia dengan Osteoartritis di Puskesmas Gambirsari

Osteoartritis merupakan penyakit sendi degeneratif yang ditandai dengan kerusakan kartilago sehingga menyebabkan nyeri yang dapat menimbulkan kekakuan, penurunan rentang gerak, dan keterbatasan aktivitas pada lansia. Nyeri terjadi akibat kerusakan sendi dan proses inflamasi yang merangsang reseptor nyeri, sehingga diperlukan penatalaksanaan yang tepat untuk mempertahankan fungsi sendi dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup. Salah satu terapi nonfarmakologis yang direkomendasikan adalah senam rematik karena dapat meningkatkan fleksibilitas sendi, memperkuat otot, memperbaiki sirkulasi darah, serta membantu menurunkan persepsi nyeri. Tujuan: Mendeskripsikan hasil penerapan senam rematik terhadap penurunan skala nyeri pada lansia dengan osteoartritis di Puskesmas Gambirsari. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan studi kasus deskriptif pada dua lansia dengan osteoartritis. Intensitas nyeri diukur menggunakan Numeric Rating Scale (NRS). Senam rematik dilakukan tiga kali selama tujuh hari dengan durasi 10–15 menit per sesi. Hasil: Sebelum intervensi, Ny. T mengalami nyeri skala 7 dan Ny. H skala 6. Setelah intervensi, skala nyeri Ny. T menurun menjadi 4 dan Ny. H menjadi 3. Kesimpulan: Penerapan senam rematik efektif membantu menurunkan skala nyeri pada lansia dengan osteoartritis sebagai intervensi nonfarmakologis.
