Hubungan Perilaku 3M (Menutup, Menguras, Mengubur) Plus dengan Kejadian Penyakit Demam Berdarah Dengue di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Trenggalek

Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) merupakan penyakit infeksi yang disebabkan oleh virus dengue dan ditularkan melalui gigitan nyamuk Aedes aegypti. Gejala utama DBD meliputi demam tinggi selama 2–7 hari dan dapat disertai manifestasi perdarahan, seperti munculnya bintik-bintik merah pada kulit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan sanitasi lingkungan dan perilaku 3M Plus dengan kejadian DDB di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Trenggalek. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain case control dengan 48 kelompok kasus dan 48 kelompok kontrol yang dipilih menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perilaku 3M Plus tidak memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan kejadian DBD (p=0,285; OR=0,481). Dengan demikian, perilaku 3M Plus dalam penelitian ini tidak menunjukkan hubungan yang bermakna dengan kejadian DBD di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Trenggalek. Upaya pencegahan DBD tetap perlu dilakukan melalui penerapan perilaku 3M Plus secara konsisten serta peningkatan kebersihan lingkungan masyarakat.
