Abstrak

Inisiasi Menyusu Dini (IMD) merupakan langkah penting untuk mendukung kesehatan ibu dan bayi serta keberhasilan pemberian ASI. Dukungan keluarga menjadi salah satu faktor yang dapat membantu ibu melaksanakan IMD secara optimal. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh dukungan keluarga terhadap keberhasilan IMD di Rumah Sakit Anugerah Bunda Khatulistiwa Pontianak. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif analitik dan pendekatan cross-sectional. Sampel terdiri dari 33 ibu postpartum yang melahirkan secara normal dan melakukan IMD, yang dipilih menggunakan consecutive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dukungan keluarga dan lembar observasi keberhasilan IMD, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Hasil: Sebanyak 16 responden (48,4%) memperoleh dukungan keluarga, sedangkan 17 responden (51,6%) belum memperoleh dukungan secara optimal. Sebanyak 18 responden (54,5%) berhasil melaksanakan IMD dan 15 responden (45,5%) tidak berhasil. Hasil uji Chi-Square menunjukkan p = 0,000 (p < 0,05). Ibu yang memperoleh dukungan keluarga memiliki keberhasilan IMD lebih tinggi (81,2%) dibandingkan ibu yang tidak memperoleh dukungan (23,5%). Kesimpulan: Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara dukungan keluarga dan keberhasilan IMD. Peningkatan keterlibatan keluarga diperlukan untuk mendukung pelaksanaan IMD secara optimal.
